The Utah Olympic Oval Summer 2010 Figure Skating Camp is open to skaters who have completed a minimum of the level 1 test in Basic Skills through the Senior test levels. Skaters will be grouped according to their test levels for all clinics. 

Join us for a fun and exciting week of on and off-ice clinics designed to help all levels of skaters reach a higher level of personal performance through education, training, and self-discipline.

Basic Skills Level Groups: Basic 1-4 and Basic 5-8 
Camp Times: 9:30am-3:00pm daily (4:30pm end on Friday)
Registration Fee: $125.00 ($145.00 after July 1)

FS/Test Level Groups: Free Skate 1-3, Free Skate 4-6, Pre-Preliminary – Pre-Juvenile, and Juvenile – Senior
Camp Times: 8:30am-3:00pm (4:30pm end on Friday) 
Registration Fee: $150.00 ($170.00 after July 1)

Who: Boys and Girls in grades 1-6
What: Enjoying time on the ice with friends while learning the basic skills of Ice Skating, Hockey & Speed Skating
When: Tuesdays & Thursdays 1:30-2:30 (See specifice dates below)
Registration: $40 for 6 classes - fee includes ice time, instruction, skate rental & helmet rental.

FUNDAMENTALS SKILLS SCHOOL

Tired of the same old programs for your kids while off-track or out of school for the summer? The Utah Olympic Oval has the solution for you! This fun & exciting new Utah Sport For Life program is designed to teach children ages 4-7 FUNdamental movement skills such as coordination, balance, jumping, kicking, striking, and much more are taught to your children with the emphasis being on FUN!

Upon completion students will receive a FUNdiploma, a handbook of additional skills that can be done at home, and a prize.

This is an excellent starting point, or compliment to the Learn to Skate program here at the Oval. Classes are conducted by Oval coaches.

What: Six 30minute sessions
When: Tuesdays, Thursdays 5:45-6:15pm & 6:30-7:00pm, and Saturdays 12:00-12:30pm & 12:45-1:15pm (6 punch pass can be used for any 6 days!)
Where: The Utah Olympic Oval's new Fundamental Skills Zone (located at the South end of the building)
Ages: 4-7years (classes for more ages coming soon!)
Cost: ONLY $10 FOR LEARN TO SKATE PARTICIPANTS/SIBLINGS! $20 FOR NON LEARN TO SKATE PARTICIPANTS/SIBLINGS
